Remvi Irakleitsa

  • Published in Kavala
Remvi, Kavala Prefecture

The climbing sector of Remvi is located next to Irakleitsa, in Kavala prefecture. The approach is easy. It's just an hour away from Thessaloniki. I has over 100 routes, traditional and sport and for all levels of climbers. The sector is right above the sea, making climbing a unique experience.

Approach

You take the exit to Irakleitsa from the highway Thessaloniki-Kavala and continue until you arrive to Irakleitsa. You don't enter IRakleitsa, but continue to Peramos through an uphill road. In the peak of the uphill you'll see a gaz station on your left side. 50m after the gas station and right after the downhill begins, you will turn left on a decent quality road. Continue driving and imagine that you have to drive all the way to the other side of the mountain where you can see the sea. There is a big openning right next to the climbing sector where you can park your car.

NOTE! All the route marked with * require the use of traditional gear to be free climbed.
